Desktop Product Management Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled Product Manager to develop and execute the product strategy for our desktop product, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the Linux ecosystem, including windows managers, identity management solutions, and application development frameworks. They will also have a passion for writing about technologies and the tech landscape, and be able to communicate their product vision to stakeholders.

About the Role

  • Develop and execute the product strategy for our desktop product
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth
  • Conduct market research and analyse industry trends to identify opportunities
  • Communicate product vision and status updates to stakeholders
  • Contribute to the success of our sales team in winning new opportunities

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product development lifecycle, reviewing priorities and goals for your product
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams
  • Conduct usability testing and iterate on the product to improve the user experience
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and create product documentation

Requirements

  • Exceptional academic results at high school and university
  • Understanding of Linux and the wider open source software community
  • Strong work ethic and personal interests aligned with the open source movement
  • Outstanding communication skills in English, both verbal and written
