Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Application Specialist/Field Engineer to join our team in Oman. As a key member of our Chemicals Technologies division, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our customer's field team, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of their chemical treating programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management: Develop and implement comprehensive chemical treating programs, including managing field chemical inventories, maintaining chemical dosing rates, and supervising installation/removal/change of chemical injection sites.
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical assistance to customers, including troubleshooting and problem-solving, and develop and deliver training programs to enhance their knowledge and skills.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and prepare and distribute regular reports to stakeholders.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and process engineers, to ensure seamless execution of projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Education: A 4-year technical degree in chemistry or a related field is required.
  • Experience: At least 5 years' experience in oil, gas, and water production and treatment systems, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Must be licensed to drive the assigned company vehicle.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
