Job Title: Accountant
  • Location: Oman (Muscat)

This role requires an individual with strong accounting skills, preferably with experience in handling cash flow and bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial principles and practices, as well as proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required, along with 4-5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant in an industrial products trading firm. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

The candidate must also possess effective communication skills, with the ability to liaise with banks and other stakeholders at all levels. Knowledge of MIS (Management Information Systems) and VAT preparation and filing is highly desirable.

In this role, you will be responsible for handling the full cycle of accounting up to finalization, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and monitoring and managing cash flow. You will also be expected to coordinate with sales and delivery teams for timely invoicing and follow-up of payments, as well as prepare budgeting reports on a monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual basis.

Additionally, you will assist in financial forecasting and variance analysis, implement and maintain financial controls to ensure data accuracy and integrity, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize financial processes and support business growth.
