Fitness Activity Coordinator

We are seeking a Recreation Manager to facilitate enjoyable sport and recreation activities for our guests. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth daily operation of our sports and recreation department to maximize guest satisfaction.

1. Key Responsibilities:
2. Ensure the smooth daily operation of the Sports and Recreation department to maximize guest satisfaction.
3. Create unique activities leveraging local cultural, sporting, or other offerings, making our sports and leisure options a competitive advantage.
4. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all hotel products and services, especially sports and leisure activities and equipment.
5. Implement all health and safety regulations in sports and leisure activities, with particular attention to children's safety.
6. Execute the Anantara Children's program effectively.
7. Ensure all activities are conducted safely, adhering to proper safety protocols.
8. Utilize qualified attendants for relevant activities, such as fitness instructors, aerobics instructors, and lifeguards.
9. Monitor activity program success via participation rates and guest feedback, making adjustments to maintain high-quality, engaging, and original programs.
10. Coordinate with the Concierge to inform guests about available events and activities.
11. Collaborate with the Spa team to promote spa services, enhancing guest satisfaction and revenue.
12. Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of all equipment in gyms, water sports, and other activity areas.
13. Assist guests and members in achieving their fitness goals through skill, knowledge, and motivation, and document progress for follow-up.
14. Foster a positive working relationship with other departments.
15. Follow proper accounting procedures when collecting fees for sports and recreation activities.
16. Perform additional duties as assigned by management, including driving departmental revenue.
