The role of a Construction Project Manager - C&A Operations Specialist is to oversee the successful delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Coordination: Directly accountable for day-to-day activities during the project construction phase, coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • HSE Management: Responsible for maintaining effective health and safety systems, including risk assessments and method statements as necessary, to minimize risks and prevent accidents.
  • Cost Control: Monitors, controls, and verifies C&A construction cost estimates submitted by contractors to ensure activities align with contract scheduled rates, preventing cost overruns and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensures that all C&A construction activities meet company and international standards, reviewing and commenting on required construction documents such as method statements, procedures, engineering drawings as necessary.
  • Resource Planning: Manages and supervises instrumentation construction activities, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring works align with delivery schedules, contract specifications, and company requirements.
  • Site Supervision: Conducts periodic HSE inspections and identifies areas for corrective actions and improvements, closing punch lists to company satisfaction.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating a harmonious relationship within the team and contractors, attending site inspections as required, and performing other relevant duties requested by the construction manager from time to time. You will also be expected to stay updated with new improved working methods to add value through quality improvement and cost reduction.
