Interior Space Design Position

This role involves designing and creating functional and visually appealing interior spaces for clients.

  • The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of design principles and practices.
  • They will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing detailed design plans, and overseeing the installation of these plans.
Main Responsibilities:
  1. Meet with clients to discuss their needs and preferences for the interior space.
  2. Develop and present design concepts that meet client requirements.
  3. Select and source materials, finishes, furnishings, and other design elements.
  4. Create detailed design plans, including floor plans, elevations, and construction documents.
  5. Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other professionals involved in the project.
  6. Oversee the implementation of the design plan and ensure it is completed on time and within budget.
  7. Stay current with industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in interior design, preferably in exhibitions and theaters.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work within constraints.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software, such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, or Revit.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong project management skills and knowledge of building codes and regulations.
