Job Title:
Financial Operations Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to oversee the daily financial operations of our Oman operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and payable, ensuring statutory compliance, and effective fund management.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial accounting policies in line with Group policies and IFRS.
  • Implement controls to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
  • Prepare and report monthly financial results with in-depth analysis.
  • Manage local compliance, including tax, audit, secretarial, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide commercial support for business cases.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of financial and management reporting.
  • Lead the process of preparing annual plans, reforecasts, and monthly financial reporting.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze budget performance on a regular basis, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions to optimize resource allocation and cost management.
  • Closely monitor financial reporting, Group Reporting, Statutory audit, budgeting, and forecasting, reporting to the HDQ Finance team.


Requirements:
  • A qualified Chartered Accountant/CPA/ACCA with 5 years' experience or a bachelor's degree in accountancy with 10 years' experience.
  • A self-starter and highly motivated individual.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to effectively and confidentially communicate financial insights to senior management.
  • Good people management skills in a multinational diverse team.
  • The ability to work under pressure.
  • Well-versed in IFRS and management reporting.
  • Excellent Excel knowledge is a must.


Preferred Skills:
  • Previous work experience in Oman.
  • Work experience within the hospitality/FMCG/Retail sector.
