About the Role

The role of Cybersecurity Assurance Analyst is crucial in ensuring the organization's IT infrastructures, systems, applications, and websites are secure and resilient to potential threats. This position requires a professional with expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to maintain a robust cybersecurity posture.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of information security policies, processes, and procedures, as well as experience in conducting periodic and on-demand security assessments (VAPT) and Red Team activities. Strong communication and coordination skills are essential for effective collaboration with different team members to deploy security controls recommended by vendors and the Information Security team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for logging all InfoSec-related incidents and tracking them for closure. They will also conduct research and gain awareness of the latest information security trends to enhance the organization's cybersecurity capabilities.

Additional responsibilities include participating in information security-related initiatives and projects, conducting threat hunting to identify potential threats, and ensuring alignment with regulatory and compliance frameworks.

Key qualifications for this role include a degree in Information Security/IT or equivalent, preferred Professional Information Security Certification or equivalent, and relevant work experience. The successful candidate will possess strong risk analysis skills, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, coordination skills, teamwork skills, reporting skills, and research skills.

About You
  • A bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field.
  • At least 4-8 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity.
  • Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with security assessment tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard certifications such as CEH, CCNA, and ISO 27005.
