We are seeking a highly skilled sales professional to join our team as a Business Development Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about driving growth in the media and events industry.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in driving sales growth, building relationships and delivering value to our partners.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Management: Leading the end-to-end sales process, including identifying opportunities, pitching, negotiating and closing deals.
- Sponsorships & Advertising: Selling sponsorships for high-profile events and advertising packages across our digital, print and social media platforms.
- Client Relationship Building: Developing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and retention.
- Strategic Planning: Identifying new revenue streams, upselling opportunities and contributing to the overall business development strategy.
- Collaboration: Working closely with marketing, production and editorial teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
Experience & Qualifications Required:
- 2-10 years in sales management, preferably in digital media, event sponsorships, radio or print media.
- Proven ability to pitch, negotiate and close deals successfully.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
- A degree in business management, sales or marketing management is ideal.
- Preference to those with experience in the Middle East especially Oman.
