Piping Systems Designer Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled piping systems designer to join our team. As a Senior Piping Systems Designer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing piping systems for various projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop piping systems that meet industry standards and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of piping systems with other project components.
  • Develop and maintain detailed design documentation, including drawings and specifications.
  • Analyze and resolve complex piping system issues and conflicts.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to junior designers and engineers.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills:
  • Demonstrated expertise in piping design software, including AutoCAD and PDMS/E3D.
  • Strong understanding of piping codes and standards, including ASME and API.
  • Familiarity with company standards, Shell Group DEPs, and international engineering standards.
  • Proficiency in PC applications relevant to design and documentation.

Education & Experience:
  • Minimum Diploma in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • At least 15 years of experience in an engineering design firm, with demonstrated capability.
  • Minimum of 10 years in oil & gas facility design, with front-end and detailed design expertise.
