Job Summary

  • We are seeking an exceptional Support Engineering Manager to lead our professional support team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering world-class support services to our customers.

About the Role

  • This is a unique opportunity to join our fast-paced environment and take ownership of managing a high-performing support team.
  • You will be accountable for ensuring that all customer cases are responded to within Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and in a professional manner.
  • Additionally, you will act as the customer escalation contact and ensure that such escalations are addressed appropriately.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a professional support team, including skills development and performance management
  • Operational control, shift scheduling, and accountability for key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Ensure timely and effective resolution of customer issues
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to drive growth and transformation initiatives

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in CLI with Linux at a technical level
  • Leadership experience, preferably in team management
  • Confidence under pressure, with a proven track record of high customer focus
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Experience or knowledge of Linux Desktop, OpenStack, Public Cloud, or Virtualization technologies
  • Proven track record of contributing to Open Source projects
  • Software development experience
