Kitchen Operations Manager

We are recruiting for a skilled Chef de Partie to join our hotel's culinary team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our Head and Sous Chefs in achieving exceptional food quality, streamlining purchasing procedures, and maintaining high kitchen standards.
This role presents an excellent opportunity to develop your culinary expertise, work collaboratively with senior chefs, and drive a culture of excellence within the kitchen.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with senior chefs to plan menus and prepare dishes.
- Maintaining exceptionally high standards throughout the food preparation process.
- Ensuring the kitchen remains immaculate, adhering to rigorous hygiene and food safety practices.
- Effectively managing inventory levels and ordering necessary supplies in a timely manner.
- Mentoring junior staff members to enhance their culinary skills and confidence.
- Coordinating food preparation and presentation during service hours.
- Adjusting recipes to cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences.
- Fostering open communication among staff members to guarantee seamless kitchen operations.
- Pursuing ongoing professional development through workshops and culinary trend research.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Proven expertise in culinary arts, encompassing international and regional cuisines.
- Significant experience in food preparation and recipe development.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective teamwork.
- Excellent organizational abilities, allowing for simultaneous task management.
- Demonstrated capacity to thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Culinary degree or vocational certificate from a reputable institution.
- At least 3 years of experience as a chef, preferably in similar roles or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
