Job Description

The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of experience in revenue control, with a strong background in financial auditing and accounting principles. They will be proficient in MS Excel and familiar with accounting software, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify trends.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Finalize daily room revenue reports, ensuring discrepancies between housekeeping and front office room status are reported and total rooms available for sale agree with contracted rooms available.
  • Reconcile all credit card collections against cashier summaries and lists received from the bank.
  • Audit daily collection of the General Cashier's Summary against the bank slip.
  • Reconcile revenues on a daily basis via backup pages.
  • Audit and reconcile advance payments, ensuring payments have been applied.
  • Work with General Cashiers to regularly check float totals and maintain control on registers in outlets.
  • Perform various special projects as requested and assigned by management.

This is a highly analytical role that requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively across departments.

Key Qualifications
  • Proven experience in revenue control or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
