Embedded Linux Field Engineering Team Lead

We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead a team of Field engineers in Presales and Professional Services activities, helping customers with solution architecture, design, and delivery.

About This Opportunity

This role entails leading a regionally-focused team of Field engineers, solving customer problems, working remotely, coaching and mentoring team members, identifying and measuring team health indicators, implementing disciplined engineering processes, representing the team and product to stakeholders, developing and evangelising great engineering and organisational practices, and planning and managing progress on agreed goals and projects.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Significant experience in embedded Linux development and management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, including team building, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to meet colleagues and attend company events.
