Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead our commercial strategy and product development efforts. As Vice President of Product Development, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's growth and innovation initiatives.

  • Commercial Strategy & Planning
    • Develop and execute the company's 5-year business plan, aligning with long-term goals.
    • Analyze market trends and identify strategic opportunities for growth.
    • Mitigate long-term strategic risks and ensure alignment across all business units.
Leadership

You will provide direction and leadership to the business development team, setting goals and ensuring high performance. Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, including investors and government entities.

  • Team Leadership
    • Lead cross-functional projects and change initiatives, driving growth and influencing senior stakeholders.
Business Development

You will identify, evaluate, and manage key business opportunities, expanding the company's commercial footprint by attracting new clients and foreign investments.

  • Business Opportunity Management
    • Evaluate and manage strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, and expansion plans.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to improve proposals, pricing, and customer solutions.
Market Intelligence & Product Development

You will support market intelligence and marketing teams with research and competitor analysis, informing business decisions and supporting the development of innovative products.

  • Product Development
    • Design new offerings and integrated solutions, aligned with the company's Integrated Logistics Strategy.
    • Recommend necessary investments and partnerships to sustain growth.
Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in leadership roles in business development, commercial strategy, or logistics.
  • Strong background in stakeholder management, M&A, and strategic planning.
  • Deep understanding of logistics, ports, transport, and trade policies.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive growth, and influence senior stakeholders.
