Technical Lead - IDS Risk Management

This role requires a strong understanding of technology risk management, disaster recovery, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience in identifying, assessing, and monitoring risks across these domains.

The successful candidate will design and implement control frameworks aligned to industry standards such as ISO 27005, NIST RMF, and COBIT principles. They will also maintain a centralized risk register and develop mitigation strategies for identified risks.

This position involves leading the development of disaster recovery plans and conducting regular reviews to ensure alignment with business impact assessments and recovery time objectives. The candidate will also ensure that disaster recovery strategies are aligned with on-premises, private cloud, and hybrid cloud environments.

A key aspect of this role is ensuring compliance with internal policies, national regulations, and global frameworks. The candidate will monitor and report on compliance metrics and develop mitigation strategies to address any gaps or weaknesses.

The Technical Lead will also be responsible for designing and delivering training programs on risk management, disaster recovery awareness, and compliance best practices. They will drive a culture of risk ownership, security awareness, and policy compliance within the organization.

This role requires strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, and relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CBCP. A master's degree or higher may be preferred.

The successful candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance. They will have a strong understanding of data protection laws, disaster recovery frameworks, and industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.
