About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Vacuum Sewer Operator to join our team at Madre Integrated Engineering in Ruwi, Oman. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our vacuum sewer systems.

Main Responsibilities
  1. System Operation and Maintenance: Operate and maintain vacuum sewer systems to minimize downtime and service interruptions.
  2. Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot operational issues and perform repairs as needed to maintain system integrity.
  3. Inspections and Documentation: Conduct regular inspections of vacuum stations and collection tanks, documenting findings and any necessary repairs.
  4. Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to develop and implement improvements to the vacuum sewer system and train new operators on proper equipment use and safety practices.
Essential Requirements
  1. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of wastewater management principles and regulatory requirements.
  2. Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
  3. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to various audiences.
  4. Physical Demands: Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
