As an Industrial Automation Expert at Port of Salalah, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial automation systems. Your primary responsibilities will include troubleshooting and maintaining AC Inverters from GE, Siemens, and Fuji, as well as DC Drives from GE 2000. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting PLCs from various brands and handling all manual information.

You will have a deep understanding of PLC programming languages, including KOP, SCL, AWL, DB, LADER, and others. You will also have experience with motor regenerative systems using IGBT and Thyristors control. Additionally, you will be familiar with motor speed control using closed-loop, open-loop, and torque methods. A successful candidate will have excellent technical knowledge of maintenance and repair of all electrical equipment. They will also have strong supervisory skills, including planning, organizing, and directing work. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English. They will also have exceptional time management skills, due to the fast-paced and demanding work environment.
