Food & Beverage Hostess and Waitress

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.

• Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments efficiently.

• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.

• Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff regarding guest flow and special requests.

• Present menus and provide initial information about the restaurant's offerings.

• Monitor dining areas to anticipate guest needs and support service.

• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests courteously and promptly.

• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the entrance and host/hostess stand.

• Assist with coordinating large parties or special events.

• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen/bar.

• Serve dishes and drinks according to restaurant standards.

• Check back with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction.

• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.

• Upsell and recommend dishes or beverages to enhance the dining experience.

• Handle guest complaints or issues professionally and escalate if necessary.

• Prepare tables, set up cutlery, and maintain a clean dining area.

• Process payments accurately and follow cash handling procedures.

• Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Professional appearance and welcoming attitude.

• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment.

• Previous experience in hospitality or guest-facing roles preferred.

• Fluency in English (Arabic language a plus).

• Previous experience as a waitress/server in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

• Team player with a positive attitude.

• Basic math skills for handling payments.

The candidate would be working under 2 brands featuring 299 rooms, suites, and serviced apartments. In addition to the multiple outlets and 7 meeting venues.
