Muscat, Muscat, Oman Oman Investment Authority Full time $60,000 - $120,000 per year

Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure for cloud-based services, including but not limited to routing, switching, firewall, and load balancing technologies.

Plan, design, and implement upgrades and evolution of Internet Data Centre (IDC) while managing capacity and growth of operations.

Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement network changes.

Investigate and resolve issues on customer's network and IT assets using troubleshooting methodologies.

Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers, to ensure optimal performance and security.

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues, escalating to team lead or vendors when necessary.

Utilize network diagnostic tools to monitor and diagnose network performance issues, and implement solutions.

Assist in reporting, documentation, tuning on tools, and introduction of new products/tools for the Network.

Implement and maintain network security policies, including access control, firewall rules, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

Provide 24/7 Level 1 and Level 2 & L3 technical support for all network solutions to ensure immediate assistance.

Provide technical guidance and manage escalations from specialists.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification

Bachelor s degree in computer science (CS), Information System Management (ISM), Information Technology (IT)

Certification

NSE4,5 & 6 - Advanced certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, NSE4-8 - F5 Technical Specialist 301, 302 . are desirable

Experience

At least 5+ years of experience in network management preferably in service management companies.

Skills

Experience in network and network security vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, F5, and Huawei Networks.

Cisco ACI Datacenter Experience

Should have very sound knowledge on Networking technologies Routing, Switching (Cisco ACI),

Experience in troubleshooting and fixing common misconfigurations as well as doing Root Cause Analysis

Experience with network diagnostic tools using network diagnostic tools to monitor network performance and diagnose.

Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
