Job Summary:

The Commercial Leasing Agent is responsible for driving the leasing of retail, office, and commercial spaces within the property. The role involves prospecting and engaging with potential tenants, negotiating lease terms, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and supporting the achievement of occupancy and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leasing & Negotiations
  • Market available commercial spaces to potential tenants through direct outreach, brokers, and marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct property tours and presentations for prospective tenants.
  • Negotiate lease agreements, renewals, and amendments in line with company policies.
  • Tenant Relations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential tenants.
  • Act as the main point of contact during the leasing process until handover.
  • Ensure smooth coordination with tenants during fit-out and move-in.
  • Market Research & Strategy
  • Monitor market trends, competitor projects, rental rates, and tenant demand.
  • Provide input to management on pricing strategies, promotions, and leasing campaigns.
  • Documentation & Compliance
  • Prepare and manage lease proposals, LOIs, and contracts.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with company and legal standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date leasing records in the CRM system.
  • Collaboration & Reporting
  • Work closely with the marketing team to execute leasing campaigns.
  • Coordinate with property management and legal teams to support tenant onboarding.
  • Provide regular leasing activity reports, pipeline updates, and market insights to management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field (preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience in commercial leasing, sales, or real estate.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of local property market trends (Oman/Muscat market is a plus).
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to meet targets and work under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Occupancy rate achieved vs. targets.
  • Leasing revenue vs. budget.
  • Tenant satisfaction and retention rate.
  • Speed of closing deals (leasing cycle time).
  • Quality and accuracy of lease documentation.
