Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Lead. The Business Development Lead will spearhead initiatives to identify and engage potential business opportunities, develop and execute business strategies, and build strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Responsibilities include conducting thorough market research, generating leads, managing client communication, and developing innovative solutions to drive growth and support NextStars' mission of global impact through climate-conscious entrepreneurship.

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills for strategic decision-making, data analysis, and identifying growth opportunities
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with stakeholders and clients
  • Experience in Lead Generation and Market Research to identify, pursue, and nurture business opportunities
  • Proficiency in Customer Service to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and partners
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Background and interest in climate-conscious ventures or entrepreneurial ecosystems
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience in business development, sales, or a related role is highly desirable
