Job Purpose:

This is an entry-level, client-support role focusing on corporate tax compliance and advisory assistance. The Analyst supports the delivery of client engagements by preparing working papers, drafting tax computations, conducting research, and ensuring accurate documentation. The role offers hands-on exposure to local and international tax frameworks while working under the guidance of senior team members.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare corporate tax computations, returns, and supporting schedules.
  • Conduct research on tax regulations and draft initial findings for review.
  • Assist with client correspondence and gathering of required documentation.
  • Support the team in preparing audit defense files and liaising with tax authorities.
  • Perform reconciliations and basic analyses of tax accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports, memos, and presentations.
  • Keep updated on relevant tax laws and developments.
  • Contribute to team knowledge-sharing and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Pursuit of CPA, ACCA, CTA, ACA, or equivalent certification is preferred.

Work experience requirements:

  • 1–2 years of experience in tax compliance or audit (internships or full-time).
  • Experience within a consultancy or Big Four environment is an advantage.

Knowledge / Technical Skills

  1. Basic understanding of local and international tax regulations.
  2. Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  3. Strong analytical and organizational skills.
