Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Cost Accountant located in Salalah. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for preparing and analyzing cost reports, managing cost control systems, and monitoring cost variances. This role involves collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate cost accounting and providing insights for financial decision-making. The Cost Accountant will also assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure financial transparency and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in cost accounting principles and practices
  • Experience with budget preparation, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience in manufacturing or construction industry is a plus
  • Ability to work on-site in Salalah
