Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Musqaţ, Oman. As a Project Director for Energy Storage and Infrastructure projects, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of energy storage projects. Responsibilities include managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring compliance with energy policies, collaborating with stakeholders, and leading project teams to deliver innovative energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and overall management for large-scale energy storage and infrastructure projects from concept to commissioning.
  • Oversee multidisciplinary teams, EPC contractors, and consultants ensuring quality, safety, and on-time delivery.
  • Manage project budgets, risk assessments, and financial progress in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with Omani regulations, environmental standards, and international engineering best practices.
  • Coordinate with the consortium partners, technical committees, lenders, and government authorities.
  • Drive innovation in design, sustainability, and local value creation (ICV).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Project Management, or Renewable Energy disciplines.
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in managing IPP/Development or PPP projects (preferably in energy, hydro, or infrastructure).
  • Proven track record leading projects exceeding USD 500 million in CAPEX.
  • Strong familiarity with FIDIC contracts, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Experience in the GCC or similar arid environments is an advantage.
  • PMP / PRINCE2 / IPMA certification preferred.
