A leading mining and industrial development company in Oman is seeking a
Project Director – Major Projects
to lead the planning, development, and execution of large-scale mining initiatives from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing project lifecycles, ensuring strategic alignment, and driving operational excellence across all phases. This is a senior leadership role requiring deep expertise in project management, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to engage effectively with government bodies, investors, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project development, including feasibility studies, design, and execution.
  • Ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timelines while maintaining quality and compliance.
  • Build and lead multidisciplinary teams, promoting collaboration and accountability.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparent communication and alignment.
  • Drive innovation, risk management, and continuous improvement across all project stages.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 15 years of experience managing major mining or industrial projects.
  • Proven leadership in project planning, execution, and stakeholder engagement.
