Job Description: Welding and Fabrication

Position: Welder

Location: Oman

Job Summary:

The Welder is responsible for providing high-quality Welding and Fabrication activities for Polyethylene (PE) /

High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) items. This role ensures the structural integrity and precision of all welding

tasks while adhering to the highest safety and quality standards, supporting both on-site projects and factory

needs.Key Responsibilities:

 Perform HDPE Welding Activities using Butt Fusion, Electro Fusion, and Extruder Welding techniques.

 Travel to project or customer sites as required for the Welding Activities.

 Efficiently and safely carry out on-site welding, assembly, and repair work.

 Coordinate with site Supervisors/Engineers to ensure tasks are completed on schedule.

 Conduct HDPE/PE pipe welding for projects, laboratory needs, and factory maintenance requirements.

 Ensure all welded parts meet required standards for dimensional accuracy, strength, and quality.

 Adhere strictly to all company and industry safety procedures, including proper use of Personal Protective

Equipment (PPE).

 Assist in the repair and maintenance of welding machines including Butt Fusion, Electro Fusion, and Extruder

Welding Machines.

 Maintain records of welding tasks, repairs, and maintenance activities performed.

 Report any welding issues, material usage, or suggestions for improvement to the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience:

 Minimum of Secondary School Certificate or equivalent.

 Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.

 Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a heavy driver (preferably in industrial or logistics sectors).

 Good knowledge of local traffic laws and road networks.

 Basic mechanical knowledge of heavy vehicles.

 Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.

Working Conditions:

• The position is based in Oman and may require travel to project or customer sites as needed. Work involves

physical activity in environments with heat, noise, and moving machinery. Manual dexterity and precision are

required for high-quality welding tasks.
