Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Support Engineer to join our technical team in Oman. The ideal candidate will have
4–5 years of hands-on experience
in providing IT support, managing desktops, laptops, printers, and operating systems, along with knowledge of Active Directory, basic server/storage/network troubleshooting.
Certifications such as MCSE or CCNA are required
. A
valid Oman driving license is mandatory
as the role involves on-site support across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other end-user devices.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows 10/11, Windows Server).
  • Manage and support Active Directory users, groups, permissions, and policies.
  • Handle basic server, storage, and network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi).
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT infrastructure.
  •  Respond to support tickets, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and requests.
  • Maintain IT documentation including asset inventory, configuration details, and supportlogs.
  • Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers for hardware/software issues.
  • Provide remote and on-site support across client or company locations in Oman.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 4–5 years of proven experience in IT support or system administration.
  • Strong knowledge of:

-Windows OS (Client and Server)

-Desktop/laptop/printer troubleshooting

-Active Directory

  • Basic knowledge of

-Server and storage systems

-Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)

Certifications:

  • MCSE and/or CCNA (at least one is required).
  • Valid GCC/Oman Driving License is mandatory.
