Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and empathetic Psychology Teacher cum School Counsellor to teach the Cambridge IGCSE, AS & A Level Psychology curriculum and provide counselling support to students. The candidate should be able to balance classroom teaching with guiding students in their academic, behavioural, emotional, and career development.

Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Teach Psychology at IGCSE, AS & A Levels in line with Cambridge guidelines.
  • Prepare engaging lesson plans, schemes of work, and assessments.
  • Provide career counselling and guidance for higher education pathways.
  • Offer behavioural and emotional counselling to support student well-being.
  • Maintain confidentiality and establish trust-based counselling practices.
  • Guide students in research, project work, and extended essays.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student progress.
  • Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Master's / Bachelor's degree in Psychology.
  • B.Ed. / PGCE / Diploma in Counselling / equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of teaching Cambridge/IB curricula.
  • Prior experience as a School Counsellor will be an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal, empathetic listening, and communication skills.
