Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and creative Designer to join our Marketing team at The Sustainable City – Yiti. As a key member of the team, the designer will be responsible for supporting the creation of graphics, layouts, and visual elements but will also contribute actively to the planning, execution, of marketing campaigns... The role requires a strong understanding of design principles, creativity, and attention to detail to ensure consistent and high-quality visual communication with a strategic mindset who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to create visually engaging and on-brand graphics for various campaigns, materials, and digital platforms.
  • Design layouts and visual elements for print and digital channels, including websites, social media, brochures, posters, slides and more.
  • Ensure design consistency across all marketing materials while adhering to the brand guidelines.
  • Contribute creative ideas and innovative design concepts to enhance the overall marketing strategy.
  • Prepare design files for production, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Support the development and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns to promote brand awareness, events, and initiatives.
  • Collaborate on content creation for newsletters, and marketing materials as needed.
  • Coordinate with agencies, vendors, and external partners for marketing initiatives and event support.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of events, activations, and community engagement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in graphic design, preferably in a marketing or brand-oriented environment.
  • Strong proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).
  • A good understanding of design principles, typography, and visual composition.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for detail and a passion for design.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the Marketing and Sales team.
  • Content writing or editing skills
  • Experience managing content and engagement across social media channels.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Work Experience:

3-5 years of experience in Graphic Design and Marketing, demonstrating proficiency in working across print and digital media, contributing to marketing strategies, and managing multiple design projects.
