Magenta Flowers is one of Oman's leading floral retail brands, founded in 2017, with 16 branches across Muscat, Salalah, and Sur. The company specializes in premium flower arrangements, gifting solutions, and online delivery through its eCommerce website, Talabat, and social media platforms.

Magenta operates alongside its sister company Flower Hub, the wholesale arm responsible for importing flowers and accessories from Kenya, Ethiopia, Holland, and other global markets. Both companies are fully integrated under Odoo ERP (v17), which manages retail, wholesale, inventory, finance, and logistics operations.

Magenta and Flower Hub are currently expanding rapidly, with plans to reach 30+ branches, strengthen automation, and prepare for IPO readiness in Oman.

We are now looking for a professional Odoo Implementer / Functional Consultant to help us configure, customize, and optimize our Odoo system to support growth and operational efficiency across multiple companies and branches.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Odoo Implementer who will take ownership of configuring, customizing, and optimizing our Odoo ERP system to support multi-company operations (Retail & Wholesale). The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on implementation experience, excellent analytical skills, and a good understanding of retail workflows, POS systems, accounting, and inventory management.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  1. System Configuration & Customization


• Configure and customize Odoo (v17) modules including Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, POS, CRM, HR, and E-commerce.


• Implement intercompany automation between Magenta Flowers (Retail) and Flower Hub (Wholesale).


• Design and deploy automated workflows for procurement, stock transfers, and invoicing between companies.


• Customize reports, dashboards, and interfaces as per management requirements.

  1. Process Optimization


• Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements using Odoo's capabilities.


• Automate manual workflows such as bank reconciliation, POS closing, branch-level inventory, and expense tracking.


• Implement best practices for inventory control, FEFO/expiry management, and financial consolidation.

  1. Integration & Development Coordination


• Work with developers to integrate Odoo with eCommerce platforms, Talabat, and other third-party systems.


• Manage Odoo Studio and custom module development as per business needs.

  1. Training & Support


• Conduct user training sessions for staff across branches and departments.


• Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting.


• Document all configurations, workflows, and user manuals.

  1. Project Management


• Create implementation plans, timelines, and status reports.


• Collaborate with management and department heads to ensure Odoo aligns with company KPIs.


• Assist in the ERP governance framework and internal audit integration.

Requirements


• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field.


• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Odoo implementation (preferably v15–v17).


• Proven experience in multi-company setup, accounting, and inventory management.


• Strong understanding of retail and wholesale workflows.


• Hands-on experience in Python, XML, and Odoo Studio is an advantage.


• Excellent communication skills and the ability to train end users.


• Must be based in Oman or willing to relocate.

Preferred Skills


• Experience in ERP implementation for retail chains or FMCG.


• Knowledge of Omani accounting and VAT compliance.


• Familiarity with API integrations and / on-premise environments.


• Strong project management and documentation skills.
