Job Purpose: Overlook all finance, treasury, accounting and credit control activities across the MEA region Finance and Treasury:


• Fund Management, and Working Capital Management


• Exposure on Guarantees (Tender, Advance, Performance and Retentions)


• Meeting with Banks, Insurance Agents on regular basis


• Cash Flows forecasting (inward/outward)


• Implementation of Corporate Financial policies and procedure


• Insurance Claim handling


• Assist corporate planning in Monthly performance review of all contracts against budget. Analyze actual and report variance to senior management


• Participate in planning the objectives, methods and resources of financial operations


• Prepare Presentation for Monthly Management meetings Accounting:


• Implementation of Corporate Accounting Manual (GAM) policies and procedure, Authorization grids


• Compliance of Jsox, IFRS Guidelines


• Submission and adherence to corporate accounting Credit Control reporting and meeting corporate deadlines


• Overlook regular Income Tax and with holding tax for affiliates & probable VAT implementation


• Supervision and Review of Monthly accounts, Bank and Inter Company Reconciliations


• Day to Day Supervision and handling of accounting tasks and responsibilities


• Comply to Statutory/Internal Audit requirements and finalize statutory accounts independently Credit Control:


• Implementation of Corporate Credit Control Policies, Procedure and Guidelines


• Debtors Management


• Day to Day Dealing with Credit Insurance Companies for securing limits on customers

Job Requirements: Experience & Knowledge:


• Minimum 8 years relevant experience in financial & management accounting particularly in construction industry in UAE or the Middle East region


• 5 years experience Industry experience


• At least 3 years of experience in team leading role


• Accounting software SAP Knowledge preferred


• Ability to interact and maintain good working relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds
• Excellent commercial sense and interest in business


• Familiarity in IFRS, GAAP and SOX is advantageous


• Working experience on Letter Of Credits, related clauses, Trade Finance


• Exposure on Multi Currency handling


• Working knowledge on legal framework, meet lawyers and represent the case and provide backup papers and liaising


• Trading, Manufacturing and Service related accounting knowledge preferred
• Working Experience with government department (Electricity, Telephone, Chamber of Commerce, Economic department) preferred Education:


• Graduate or Post Graduate in Accounting


• Additional finance and accounting certificates will be advantage (CA/CPA) Skills:
• Excellent MS office Skills (Advance Excel, Word and Power point)
• Excel Level 3 knowledge a must (Macros, Pivot Table, Advance Excel formulas)
• Communicate efficiently and effectively both verbally and in written English
• People management skill
• Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with Internal/External and Inter/Intra department
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent strategic planning skills and able to interact with all levels Personality Attributes:
