Etlaq Spaceport is at the forefront of the space industry in the Sultanate of Oman. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to join our team. This key role will be responsible for overseeing and managing financial activities within the company.

Job Description:

The Finance Manager will play a crucial role in managing financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, and providing strategic financial insights to support the growth and efficiency of Etlaq Spaceport. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and best practices in the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the company's financial reporting, accounting, and budgeting processes.
  • Develop and maintain accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and optimize financial processes to enhance profitability.
  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to support business decisions and growth initiatives.
  • Ensure the company adheres to all tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, and monitor performance against these budgets.
  • Supervise the finance team, providing leadership, guidance, and training.
  • Support external audits and ensure timely compliance with audit requirements.
  • Liaise with senior management to assess and manage financial risks, including investment and operational strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Master's degree or professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial management, with at least 2 years in a senior financial role.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting standards, and reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Knowledge or experience in the aerospace or space industry is a plus.
