Job Description: Experience Electrical Calibration Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Electrical Calibration Engineer
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the calibration, troubleshooting, repair, commissioning, and installation of a wide range of electrical and electronic instruments used across industrial applications.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum
    3–5 years
    of experience in a calibration laboratory or industrial testing environment.
  • Strong understanding of electrical measurement principles, traceability, and uncertainty.
  • Hands-on experience with ISO/IEC 17025 quality systems is highly preferred.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and safety documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
  • Willingness to work at client sites and within industrial hazardous environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform
    calibration, testing, and diagnostics
    of electrical measurement instruments including:
  • Digital Multimeters (DMM)
  • Insulation Testers & Earth Resistance Testers
  • High Voltage Energy Meters and Phase Meters
  • Oscilloscopes & Function Generators
  • Power Quality Analyzers & Data Loggers
  • Multifunction Process Calibrators
  • Shunts, Current Transformers (CT), and Potential Transformers (PT)
  • Primary & Secondary Injection Test Kits
  • Oil Test Sets (e.g., BDV Testers)
  • Conduct calibration and functional verification of
    industrial transmitters and sensors
    (Temperature, Pressure, Flow, Level, Gas Detection, etc.)
  • Perform
    ACB Breaker
    testing, protection relay checking, and circuit diagnostics.
  • Support commissioning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of measurement equipment in the field.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO/IEC 17025 calibration standards and internal quality procedures.
  • Generate calibration certificates, technical reports, and maintain instrument records.
  • Identify root causes of nonconformance and execute corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with clients for job scheduling, on-site support, and technical clarification.
  • Maintain and ensure proper utilization of calibration standards, tools, and test benches.
  • Uphold highest safety practices while working with high-voltage and industrial systems.

Additional Requirements

  • Knowledge of repair and preventive maintenance practices for electrical instruments.
  • Familiarity with safety approvals, hazardous area equipment, and industrial commissioning procedures.
