Role & responsibilities
- Expertise in preparing unit rate analyses, BOQ take-offs, and resource-based estimation.
- Capability to prepare detailed cost estimates for Mechanical (Equipment Erection), Piping, and Structural Steel Works for both construction and revamp projects.
- Ability to develop unit rate build-ups for labor, equipment, and materials based on productivity norms and historical data.
- Skilled in evaluating subcontractor and vendor quotations for technical and commercial compliance.
- Proficient in preparing cost comparison sheets and recommending optimized solutions.
- Experience in maintaining and updating unit rate databases, productivity benchmarks, and historical project cost data.
- Strong ability to review and analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work issued by major EPC clients.
- Proficiency in Excel-based cost models for man-hour and duration alignment.
- Ability to handle multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Team-oriented, with proven coordination between Estimation and Execution teams.
