About the Role

Our client, a prominent private equity firm based in Oman, is seeking an accomplished investment professional to join their team at the
AVP/VP level
. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of end-to-end investment processes, from deal origination to execution, with a strong foundation in financial modelling and valuations.

This is a
permanent role based on-site in Oman
, offering the opportunity to work closely with a leading private equity team in the region, offering exposure to high-impact investments across diversified sectors and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to strategic projects in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute the full investment cycle — including deal sourcing, financial due diligence, valuation analysis, transaction structuring, and portfolio monitoring.
• Develop comprehensive financial models to evaluate potential investments and assess risk -return profiles.
• Conduct in-depth company, sector, and market analysis to identify viable investment opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive investment decisions and ensure timely deal closure.
• Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to the investment committee.
• Monitor portfolio performance and support value creation initiatives post-investment.
• Stay abreast of market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory developments in the investment landscape.

Qualifications and experience required:

• 9–11 years of experience in private equity and investment management is required
• Full-time MBA from a Tier-1 institute is
  mandatory
  (IIM/ISB/FMS/Ivy League etc.)
• Proven track record of managing full-cycle investment processes — from origination to deal execution.
• Strong expertise in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and transaction analysis.
• Professional qualification: Minimum CFA Level I (preferably Level II/III or full charterholder).
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance investment environment.
• Willingness to be based in Oman on a full-time basis.
• Fluency in Arabic is preferred but not mandatory
