Job Description

Main responsibilities

  • Supervise all civil construction activities on site (foundations, equipment bases, buildings, cable trenches, access roads, drainage, fencing, etc.).

  • Monitor contractor's daily works to ensure compliance with design, specifications, quality and HSE requirements.

  • Review and comment on civil method statements, ITPs and shop drawings, and follow up on inspections and tests.

  • Record progress, non-conformities and site issues; prepare daily/weekly reports for the Project Manager.

  • Coordinate with electrical/I&C teams, HSE and the EPC contractor to solve field clashes and maintain schedule.

Qualifications

Profile & requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

  • Minimum 7–10 years' experience in civil works supervision on industrial, power or energy projects (PV/renewable experience preferred).

  • Previous GCC / Oman experience is an advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of international construction standards and site QA/QC practices.

  • Good communication and reporting skills in English.

  • Available to mobilize to Sohar at short notice.

Additional Information

  • Full-time presence on site in Sohar for approx. 3 months, with possible extension
