Finance Manager – Accounting (Oman)

Digitiz& is supporting one of its clients in Oman to recruit for this role.

Digitiz& is assisting a client in hiring a Finance Manager to oversee financial and accounting operations. The role focuses on ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and full compliance with international accounting standards and regulatory guidelines.

Purpose of the Role

The Finance Manager will lead end-to-end accounting processes, supervise financial reporting, and ensure timely execution of all key financial activities. The position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to support business decisions with accurate financial insights.

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, CPA, CMA, or CA is required
  • Certification in IFRS/IAS is preferred

Experience and Skills Required

  • A minimum of ten years of relevant experience, including at least five years in a similar role
  • Experience in the logistics sector is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and practices
  • Familiarity with accounting systems and financial controls
  • Strong understanding of laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Solid bookkeeping, reporting, and analytical skills
