Hydrology & Hydraulic Design Engineer – Oman

We are looking for a Hydrology and Hydraulic Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Muscat, Oman.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hydrological and hydraulic studies for infrastructure and road projects.
  • Prepare stormwater drainage, flood protection, and wadi diversion designs.
  • Develop 2D/3D hydraulic models (e.g., HEC-RAS, Civil 3D, InfraWorks).
  • Analyze rainfall data, catchment areas, and flood risk scenarios.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and prepare technical reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Water Resources Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • 12 to15 years of experience in hydrology and hydraulic design.
  • Proficiency in HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, Civil 3D, and related design tools.
  • Familiarity with Oman Highway Design Standards (OHDS) or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
