Hydrology / Hydraulic Engineer
to join our growing team in
Muscat, Oman
, supporting flood and drainage design works for large-scale renewable energy and infrastructure projects across the
Middle East
.

Key Responsibilities:


• Conduct flood analysis, protection and conservation studies
for PV plants, substations, and wind farms.


• Perform
hydrological and hydraulic modelling
using
HEC-RAS (1D/2D)
,
HEC-HMS
, and other open-source tools.


• Carry out
site topographic analysis
,
catchment delineation
, and
stormwater drainage design
.


• Support hydrology inputs for
tender and ongoing projects


• Analyze and design
culvert capacities, drainage channels, and flood-mitigation measures
.


• Conduct
soil-erosion studies
, rainfall-runoff modelling, and flood-inundation mapping.


• Prepare hydrology reports, flood hazard maps, and technical documentation for project submissions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil / Water Resources Engineering

Minimum 5–10 years
of experience in hydrology or flood-related studies

Proficiency in
HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, WMS, ArcGIS/QGIS, Civil 3D, and Global Mapper

Experience in renewable projects — PV plants, wind farms, or power infrastructure — is preferred

Strong analytical and report-writing skills

Location:
Muscat, Oman or GCC

Middle East (Saudi Arabia, Oman, UAE, Qatar)
