The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed sales targets
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in freight, transport, and warehousing.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business.
  • Prepare and present tailored proposals, quotations, and solutions.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth execution of client requirements.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Successfully create business from new and existing customer accounts
  • Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives
  • Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years' quota carrying sales experience
  • Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems
  • Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong customer network and ability to generate new leads.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a proven track record of meeting targets.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Valid driving license.
