- Preparation of detailed cost estimates for projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and other

- Interpret and analyze tender documents, project specifications, drawings, and other documentation
to prepare comprehensive estimates.
Develop and prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals in response to RFPs and RFQs.
Collaborate with the engineering, sales, and project management teams to gather necessary
information for proposals.
Maintain and update cost and vendor databases.
Prepare the required BOQ from the tender documents.
Ensure all proposals meet client specifications, industry standards, and company policies.
Conduct risk assessments and identify potential challenges in project proposals.
Maintain a repository of proposal templates, past proposals, and relevant documentation.
Present proposals to clients and participate in client negotiations as needed.
Continuously improve the proposal process by integrating feedback and lessons learned from
previous projects.
Collaborate with the estimation team to understand project scope and requirements.
Conduct site visits to gather relevant information for accurate estimations when necessary.
Assist in identifying and evaluating potential risks and uncertainties in project estimates.
Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to obtain necessary information.
Contribute to post-tender reviews, clarifications and project handovers to ensure smooth transition
from estimation to execution.
Assist and support for technical bid evaluation of various bidders.
All the required documentation for tender submission.
Create and float RFQ for various products and services.
Follow up with vendor for the offer.
- Education: B.Tech or BE Mechanical Post Graduate Qualifications in Business/Management/Oil and Gas (preferred).
- Experience:
- 10+ years related experience with good knowledge in Project management and control of major EPC Projects in Oil & Gas industry and Fabrication Shop.
- Proven experience in managing contracts for high value construction contracts with at least Two EPC projects.
- Proven experience in managing maintenance contracts with Oil & Gas companies.
- Experience in managing multiple subcontractors with high value subcontracts.
- Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts.
- Follow Management Directives as applicable. Preferred qualifications / Experiences.
- Knowledge in international codes and standards like API 650, ASME 8. Experience in EPC estimations
- Engineering background or a related role.
- Experience in bidding long-term contracts will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of local construction codes and regulations.
- Knowledge in PDO/OQ/Oxy specifications.
- Knowledge in contract processing, contract management.
- HSE training course : Not Applicable strong HSE culture essential / Preferable PDO & OQ Approved course
- Special skills:
- Strong communication skills
- Good Presentation Skills
- Tendering and Estimating experience and skills
- Planning software experience (Microsoft project or Primavera)
- Financial modeling, cost management and financial forecasting
- Ability to lead, grow and develop the team
- Ability to meet (and exceed) multiple and time driven deadlines
- Track record in working successfully with diverse cultures
- Ability to ensure / follow up client payments as per the billing cycle
- Ability to develop and maintain good Customer/Client relationship
- Proven work experience as a Contract Administrator, Contract Manager or similar
- Proactive, highly motivated and flexible
- Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external partners.
- Medical fitness: Physically fit and suitable for extensive travel to interior/desert locations (Visits)
