DCG is looking for a high velocity Sales Specialist to help us achieve sales objectives within the B2B space for Microsoft solutions. We are on pace to grow rapidly but need motivated and determined sales professionals to reach our goals. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with sales experience to be part of an exciting technology consulting business.
The Sales Specialist role is an individual contributor, B2B sales position that proactively manages a national geographic sales territory calling on companies in the GCC, and their senior-level decision makers. The Sales Specialist will establish and cultivate relationships through regular contact (via phone calls, emails, meetings) with prospective customers and open tenders (RFP/RFI). This position sells Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure Cloud Services, and Microsoft products for customers and partners that focus primarily on helping them better manage their sales, customer service, marketing, operations, financials, supply-chain and human resource divisions.
What you ll be doing:
- Independently managing time, territory and travel in a way that maximizes the number of sales calls via phone, email, and direct, in-person customer interactions.
- Researching and currating goverment tenders and private company tenders (RFPs/RFIs) for organizations in need of Microsoft solutions
- Prospecting for new customers through email and phone campaigns.
- Following up on warm leads provided via marketing and telemarketing campaigns
- Consistent and detailed use of Dynamics 365 - CRM system to track and manage all sales activities and pipeline opportunities.
- Preparing and presenting customized proposals and agreements to prospective customers, including participating in online demonstrations of Microsoft solutions.
- Growing the sales pipeline and promoting a positive image for the Company by participating in tradeshows, industry conferences and industry-related functions.
- Sharing feedback gleaned from prospect and customer conversations with internal tech team to aid in development of new SaaS/PaaS features and products.
- The Account Executive role reports to the VP of Sales
Skills and traits required for success:
- Must have a motivation to exceed sales quotas and grow a book of business
- Expertise with technology (SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, HubSpot, Excel forms and formulas, Teams, web-based software applications, etc.)
- Experience selling products that require a long sales cycle and multiple touchpoints within a prospect company is a plus (i.e. enterprise sales)
- High level of organization, skill and experience managing GCC sales territory
- Highly developed presentation and proposal building skills
- Comfort level with negotiating terms of a delivered proposal on a case-by-case basis to achieve closed deals
- Proven experience calling on top-level executives in a competitive business environment
- Strong knowledge of hosted software applications (SaaS/PaaS model) and how business systems integrate. Must have advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to conduct independent market research on the internet.
