Role Description

As a full-time Senior Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring all safety protocols at our construction sites to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. Daily responsibilities include assessing and mitigating risks, conducting safety inspections, identifying hazards, ensuring occupational health standards, and providing safety training to team members. You will collaborate closely with project teams to develop and maintain a safe working environment. This is an on-site position located in Muscat.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Safety Engineering and a strong understanding of regulatory compliance in construction projects
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and practical experience implementing health and safety protocols
  • Experience with tasks related to Security measures and mitigation strategies on construction sites
  • Proven ability to organize and deliver effective Training programs for teams on safety practices and procedures
  • Expertise in Construction Safety, with a track record of ensuring safe work environments in large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
  • A Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required
  • Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are considered an advantage
  • Familiarity with safety management software and tools is beneficial
  • Experience from 10 to 15 years
