A'soud Global School (AGS) Salalah is seeking a well-qualified and passionate ICT and Business Studies teacher to join our ambitious and supportive secondary team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a forward-looking international school in a phase of rapid growth.

What We Are Looking For*

• Hold consistently high expectations of all learners and believe in every child's potential.
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge in ICT and Business Studies, with experience teaching the Cambridge curriculum (including IGCSE).
• Plan and deliver engaging, innovative lessons that develop digital skills, business awareness, and critical thinking.
• Confidently integrate technology into teaching and assessment, modelling effective use of ICT in the classroom.
• Guide learners in using digital tools safely and responsibly, embedding digital citizenship.
• Use assessment data effectively to track progress, inform planning, and support personalised learning.
• Create a classroom environment that is purposeful, supportive, and challenging.
• Be highly motivated, adaptable, and resilient, with a strong commitment to international education.
• Work in close partnership with parents, colleagues, and school leaders to maximise learner outcomes.
• Contribute actively to our "one team" ethos – valuing collaboration, openness, and mutual support.
• Support learners with exam preparation, coursework, and the development of independent study skills.
• Bring enthusiasm to extra-curricular life, for example through coding clubs, enterprise challenges, or other ICT/Business-related activities.
• Show a genuine commitment to their own growth as a professional, making the most of the development opportunities available at AGS.

Please note that, to meet visa requirements in Oman, applicants must:

• Have at least 2 years of teaching experience (UK or international).
• Hold a recognised degree in a relevant subject.
• Hold a B.Ed, BA (Hons) with QTS, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent.
• Be fluent and proficient in English.
