Experience:University Graduate in Civil Engineering discipline with minimum 15 years experience.
6 years experience in Engineering Design in Oil/Gas industry.
In-depth knowledge of civil-related work.
Practical experience in all civil engineering relevant disciplines.
Responsibilities:The Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for:
- Executing technical work for FEED+DD within designated Cost Time & Resource (CTR) scopes.
- Preparing, checking or approving Civil Engineering deliverables.
- Performing Design Methodology/Concepts of complete building elements and Oil & Gas equipment including Dynamics, Earthquake, Infrastructural facilities, Drainage, Sewer systems, etc.
- Carrying out appropriate discipline and inter-discipline checks and reviews of engineering and design work.
- Implementing, practicing and monitoring Quality Management System (QMS) in FEED office projects in line with ISO 9001-2015 and APIQ2 2nd edition requirements.
- Supporting quality assurance and HSE compliance audits for civil projects and reviews in accordance with Project requirements.
- Executing and maintaining work within allocated man hours and ensuring that other co-workers assigned to the project are adhering to the agreed CTR.
- Seeking all specialist engineering support and advice to meet the required safety and environmental standards.
- Maintaining technical integrity and flagging any deviations to PDO standards formally communicated to the relevant CFDH.
- Exploring cost reduction opportunities wherever appropriate.
- Keeping abreast of technical development and progress in the oil/gas industry.
- Mentoring graduate engineers to fulfill development objectives.
