The Bartender will offer and prepare an outstanding selection of creative beverages. He will support the servers in any other required duties and tasks under the guidance of the respective managers and supervisors.

2. Understand and comply with all corporate and hotel policies and standard operating procedures.
3. Comply with the MOHG Code of Conduct and ensure all business activities comply with general law, rules, regulations, and other requirements.
4. Support all learning and development activities.
5. Safeguard stored information and not divulge or transfer personal data or confidential information without appropriate authority.
6. Avoid unreasonable or inappropriate use of the hotel's network, computers, or internet access.
7. Support and adhere to all policies & procedures relating to Safe, Sound and Sustainable at Mandarin Oriental.
8. Ensure compliance with the MOHG Social Media Policy.
9. Maintain a zero tolerance for all forms of harassment or discrimination.
10. Carry out any additional duties requested by management related to hotel operational activities.
11. Support the company's philosophy and culture to ensure Guest Satisfaction.
12. Lead and communicate effectively with colleagues during bar operations.
13. Follow the production sequence of all beverage products and bar sequence of service.
14. Achieve service and product delivery standards with a high degree of client care.
15. Responsible for the set-up and operation of a bar station/section.
16. Provide services for guests such as order taking and promoting restaurant offerings.
17. Recommend and prepare wine and creative cocktail choices for guests.
18. Coordinate the service of food and beverage efficiently and accurately.
19. Report and follow up on maintenance defaults affecting service delivery.
20. Respond proactively to guest queries with effective communication.
21. Perform all duties related to restaurant opening/closing checklists.
22. Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Bar Supervisor/Assistant Manager.
23. Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly inventory.
24. Responsible for cash float and cashiering.
25. Maintain and order all store requisitions and stock rotation.
26. Comply with safe working practices as laid down under FLHSS.
27. Comply with local and relevant Food Hygiene Standards.
28. Wear appropriate protective clothing provided or recommended by the Hotel.
29. Report any defects in the building, plant, or equipment according to hotel procedures.
30. Ensure any accidents to colleagues, guests, or visitors are reported in accordance with hotel procedures.
31. Attend all statutory fire training and abide by all fire, health & safety rules.
32. Be aware of Fire safety plans and adhere to Safe & Sound procedures regarding Health & Safety and HACCP standards.
33. Attend any training deemed appropriate by your Head of Department.
34. Be responsible for the Safe & Sound procedures followed by your peers.
