Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Presales Engineer located in Muscat. The Presales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, preparing and delivering technical presentations, collaborating with the sales team to understand customer requirements, and offering solutions that match those requirements. Daily tasks include working on integration projects, ensuring security protocols, and supporting sales efforts through technical expertise.

Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose suitable networking and storage solutions.

Conduct thorough analysis of client needs and develop customized proposals, including technical specifications, pricing, and timelines.

Prepare and respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotation (RFQs) in a timely manner.

Create Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and technical documentation to support sales efforts.

Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of the proposed solutions.

Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in networking and storage technologies.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

5-10 years of experience in presales, preferably in a similar role within the IT industry.

Proven expertise in networking and storage products, particularly HP, Aruba, Cisco, and Huawei.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into viable solutions.

Experience in handling RFPs, RFQs, proposals, and BOQs.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Certifications:

·Servers: HP, DELL, CISCO, Huawei, Lenovo

·Wireless: Aruba CAP, CISCO and IAP.

·Virtualization: Vmware, Citirx, Redhat
