Job Title: Treat Cafe Manager

Based at InterContinental Muscat, the Treat Cafe Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the cafe, including staff scheduling, employee training, supply ordering, financial monitoring, and maintaining a clean, inviting environment. The role also involves nurturing customer relationships, resolving issues, and creating a reputable local cafe. Promote the work culture aligned with the five core values of Trust, Integrity, Respect, One Team, and Service of the InterContinental Hotels Group, along with the brand ethos.

A Typical Day:
  1. Manage daily cafe operations.
  2. Train staff on drinks preparation and coffee equipment use.
  3. Coordinate with vendors and manage supplies.
  4. Maintain records of revenues and expenses.
  5. Update menu items based on seasonality and customer preferences.
  6. Represent the hotel positively in all interactions.
  7. Adhere to hotel brand standards and ensure high product and service knowledge.
  8. Resolve customer issues effectively.
  9. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in cafe areas.
  10. Build friendly relationships with customers to enhance loyalty.
  11. Follow hotel rules, grooming, hygiene, and attendance standards.
  12. Operate and maintain barista equipment following manufacturer guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of Hotel and Restaurant Management preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Barista Manager in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Micros operating systems.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
