We have an urgent requirement for IT-Core Application - E-Mandate project technical lead - EChannels Applications Systems for one of our banking clients in Oman.

Strong Experience in Planning, implementation, and administration of EChannels Applications Systems is a must to apply for this role.

Strong Experience in system development, design, and implementation is a must to apply for this role.

Strong experience in Issue Resolution & SLA Management is a must to apply for this role.

Strong Experience In Compliance & Security Management is a must.

Strong Banking domain experience profile is a must.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical discussions and arrive at the best approach.
  • Prepare and design Architecture documents.
  • Analyze and support the reported issues.
  • Correctly assign tasks to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and share daily/weekly/monthly reports.
  • Housekeeping and monitoring of application environment ensuring their availability.
  • Represent IT in PWG, PSC meetings, or any other meetings.
  • Support Business in arriving at correct decisions and changes.
  • Ensure System Uptime & Performance.
System Management:
  • Proactive monitoring and maintenance of MMS Systems.
  • Integration/Interface with other Applications.
  • Requirement analysis for projects/enhancements related to the Mandate Management system.
  • Issue resolution within the agreed SLA.
  • Ensure Audit/Regulatory/Security compliance.
  • Ensure System Uptime.
  • Management reporting.
  • Assist Head – Banking Applications in the related areas handled.
Interacting with Stakeholders:
  • Interacts with Business Users, Mandate Management team, and vendors while handling support, new business requirements, and projects.
  • Mandate Management System Architecture.
  • Validate and ensure the Design of all new requirements/enhancements fit into the overall architecture and integrity of the Mandate Management system.
  • Take lead and evolve/devise solutions for critical requirements like data growth, Archival, and performance enhancement.
  • Maintain system performance at an acceptable level.
  • Coordinate with respective Technical Team Leads to ensure changes fit into the overall architecture of Mandate Management Application.
  • Coordinate with the Infrastructure team on analysis of data growth, performance, instance maintenance, etc.
  • Analyze the impact of new business requirements from a Mandate Management perspective.
Production Support:
  • Provide critical issue support as required on respective business areas and end users handled with the aim of reducing customer complaints.
  • Ensure strict adherence to the SLA for issue resolution.
  • Regular housekeeping of production & DR servers.
  • Ensure that a detailed root cause analysis of any issue is carried out and viable solutions are recommended with the help of application vendors.
  • Participate in/execute DR/BCP drills.
  • Assist the operations team during End of Day process execution or as required.
  • Test & deploy Security patches.
  • Promote patches/enhancements to production as approved by the change management process.
  • Work with IT teams related to internet/mobile banking, payment systems (e.g., SWIFT & RTGS), core systems, Middleware, Infrastructure, etc.
Audit Compliance:
  • The observations raised by Audit are focused and implemented.
  • The focal point for data requirement/logic will be provided on the extraction.
  • Clarification/KT will be provided to ensure a good understanding of the Products.
